Flipside Summer Holiday Workshops

Roll Up! Roll Up! Come and join Flipside circus workshops for an hour or a day and learn a range of new skills. 

If you’re looking for something fun and exciting to do with the kids these school holidays, it doesn’t get any better than the Flipside school holiday workshops. 

Flipside is the largest not-for-profit, youth organisation in Queensland, offering young people in Queensland the opportunity to learn circus from professionals and participate in various performances throughout the year. During the summer school holidays, there are classes available for 2 years right up to 16 years, so there is an option for every age group and ability level.

LITTLE TUMBLERS AT MARITIME GREEN (4 – 7yrs) | $18

The Little Tumblers is a bouncy, exciting journey where students are exposed to the world of circus in a play based, nurturing session. Young children are encouraged to be creative, explore and test their limits, with friendly trainers and a focus on fun and play.

 

CIRCUS SQUAD AT MARITIME GREEN (8 – 16yrs) | $25

A fast moving, full of action workshop that challenges their strength and creativity while developing core circus skills, great for on and off the mat.

 

KINDY CAMP (2 – 4yrs) | $25

In the Kindy Camp, the little circus stars work with parents/caregivers and trainers to explore all the fun that circus has to offer. This play-based workshop allows children to discover a range of circus equipment while supporting creative development.

Flipperoos is a play-based class that allows young children to explore circus skills in a nurturing environment; perfect for those not quite ready for a full day workshop.

Make some new friends, learn new tricks and make memories that you will never forget! We’ll learn skills in a number of areas; juggling, hula hoops, poi, devil sticks, mini tramp, trapeze, tumbling and many more skills on the ground and in the air.
