Design Markets xBAD Festival at Portside Wharf!

Discover handmade treasures at the first Design Markets xBAD Festival at Portside Wharf on Saturday, May 20, from 10am to 2pm. This event is part of The Brisbane Art Design 2023 program and will be hosted by The Market Folk.

At this festival, you can enjoy a day filled with live entertainment, mouth-watering food, and unique shopping experiences by the river. Marketgoers can browse a wide range of one-of-a-kind limited edition and handmade homewares and ceramics from local artists. With more than 20 market stalls attending the event, you’ll have plenty of options to treat yourself, family, and friends.

Get your creative juices flowing with free painting and craft workshops offered by Artfolk Creative. And if you’re one of the first 50 attendees, you’ll receive free ice cream from Rollit Co. The event is pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along!

After exploring the market stalls, you can head over to Portside Wharf’s waterfront restaurants for lunch and dinner. From Sono Japanese Restaurant and Byblos Bar to Gusto Da Gianni, Bamboo Basket, Subway, and more, there’s something for everyone.
