Brisbane Street Art Festival x Introduction to Tufting

This workshop will give you an introduction to the art of tufting; a manual process for producing rugs, carpets, and other fiber-based works. This workshop will be a comprehensive overview of the process, materials, and peculiar set of tools involved. Taught by the director of the National Rug Association, this workshop will guide you through how to set up and care for your tufting gun as well as how to approach the physical constraints of this rich medium, one tuft at a time.
