Head to Northshore Brisbane, the city’s largest canvas for celebrating and engaging with art, history and recreation, and immerse yourself in a new wave of Brisbane culture.
Sculpture by the River returns to Northshore Brisbane
The two-part exhibition is returning to Northshore Brisbane and attendees will be treated to an array of sculptures, featured at both indoor and outdoor locations.
The indoor exhibition will be housed in The Shed, Northshore Brisbane’s newly refurbished event venue, and the outdoor exhibition will showcase sculptures in Northshore Brisbane’s brand-new riverside park, Maritime Green.
The indoor exhibition runs from 6-25 May, and the outdoor exhibition will be in place from 13 May – 10 July 2022.

Australia’s Largest Street Art Festival is Coming to Northshore Brisbane
Brisbane Street Art Festival has been pioneering Australia’s street art festival movement year after year and will be returning May 7-22 with its largest program yet, and Northshore Brisbane is proud to be the central hub of the 2022 festival.
Superordinary, located in one of our large-scale warehouses, will host a myriad of the program’s finest art events, including 12 live murals that you can watch come alive.
There will be buildings, fences and walls adorned with iconic murals by world-renowned artists with a full calendar of workshops, presentations and celebrations during May.
This is an unmissable event on Brisbane’s cultural calendar and a chance to celebrate the local creative industry.

Mother’s Day Picnic in the Park
Spoil Mum with a Mother’s Day picnic by the river, on Sunday 8 May at the Northshore Riverside Park, thanks to the Northshore Harbour Café.
Kicking off from 10am, find a shady, scenic spot and spread out the picnic blanket for a relaxing day in the autumn sunshine.
There will be QR coded signs scattered throughout Northshore Riverside Park, so you can relax as your custom hamper is delivered right to you.
Finish off the morning with a self-guided walk back along MacArthur Ave to admire the new street art installations along the fence line, being installed as part of this year’s Brisbane Street Art Festival.
