Australian PGA key event information
12 January 2022
The Australian PGA championship is teeing off at the Royal Queensland Golf Club from Thursday the 13th of January until Sunday the 16th of January.
See below for further information about the event to ensure you and your guests have a memorable day.
Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek here.
Time
Gates open at 5:30am each day, from Thursday 13th of January until Sunday 16th of January.
Round one and two tee times will be released on Wednesday 12th of January. Please check the Australian PGA Championship website for times and draws: https://pga.org.au/
Daily draw sheets and course maps are available upon entry into the course.
Getting There
Entry is through the main entrance of Royal Queensland Golf Club on Curtin Avenue East.
Corporate Parking
Corporate parking is available at the car park on the eastern end of Royal Queensland Golf Club, entering off Curtin Avenue East. Spectators can then walk directly into the venue from the car park.
Parking for all patrons is free of charge for the duration of the tournament.
Train
The closest main train station is Bowen Hills Station. A free shuttle bus will run from Bowen Hills Station to Royal Queensland Golf Club from 6.00am until 6.00pm each day.
City Cat
Northshore Hamilton City Cat Terminal is the closest port for public transport. City Cat’s run from the city daily from 5.30am. A free shuttle bus will run from the Northshore Terminal to Royal Queensland Golf Club from 7.00am until 6.00pm each day.
Taxi, Private Hire Cars and Limousines
Taxi, private hire cars and limousines drop off and pick up point will be at the designated taxi zone located at the public car park on Curtin Avenue East.

COVIDSAFE Plan
The PGA operates the Australian PGA and WPGA Championships under COVID Safe measures, and as a result requires all patrons, staff, players, contractors, officials, and volunteers who are 16 years and over to be fully vaccinated (7 days after 2nd TGA approved COVID vaccination) to attend the event. You will be required to show your vaccination certificate at the main entry gate.
Any person who:
- Exhibits COVID symptoms
- Has been to a listed exposure venue
- Is a close contact
- Or otherwise required to be excluded from the event (e.g. not fully vaccinated)
Shall not be permitted to enter the event.
Please be aware you will be required to check in at the main entry gate.
In accordance with the Queensland Health guidelines, masks are mandatory in indoor settings including hospitality areas and retail. All patrons in these areas must comply with the mandatory requirements and wear masks while indoors. All patrons must also be seated indoors to eat and drink.
