Northshore Brisbane

Welcome to Northshore

Brisbane’s connected, sustainable and welcoming riverfront precinct.

Welcome to Northshore — the largest waterfront urban renewal precinct in Queensland.

Brisbane’s home of immersive experiences

For 100 years the wharves at Hamilton were the place Queensland exported its best to the world. Now Northshore Brisbane operates a different shipping schedule. Just six kilometres from the CBD you’ll find luxury river homes and apartments fit for a captain, a hub of experiential arts and cultural experiences you’ll want to write home about, and some of the most exciting cuisines in the world. Come and experience this iconic stretch of water as it transforms from working dock, into Brisbane’s immersive riverfront.

Home of the Athlete's Village for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Northshore Brisbane has been identified as the home of the Brisbane Athletes’ Village for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  Northshore Brisbane’s prime waterfront location and its proximity to the CBD, competition and training venues, and transport connections makes it an ideal location to host over 10,000 athletes and team officials for the Olympic Games and over 5000 athletes and team officials for the Paralympics.

Development of the Athletes’ Village within the Northshore Hamilton Priority Development Area aligns with the vision for this area and will accelerate this significant city-shaping project. In legacy mode the village will deliver housing supply across many key markets including private and affordable housing, build to rent, retirement, aged care and hotel / short term accommodation.

The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will create a 20-year pipeline of opportunities for Queensland businesses to:

  • take part in exciting projects
  • create valuable new partnerships and supply chains
  • develop their business capability.
